Unlock your full potential

For in-depth personal development, a full life overhaul or to regain direction, control and motivation in your life once more, Alison prefers to work with clients over a series of sessions, allowing you the opportunity to fully stretch and grow into the person you really want to be.

Having said this, Alison understands that you may not be ready to commit to a full series of coaching without knowing what it’s all about and whether it will work for you. For this reason, she offers a 20 minute obligation free discovery chat for you to discuss your current situation and evaluate whether Alison is the right practitioner for you to be working with at this time.

What happens in a coaching session?

A coaching session is quite different to therapy or counselling in that it is primarily future focussed, looking at where you want to go from here and how you are going to get there. It is also quite structured in order to keep you on track to make the best use of your time and to keep you focussed on achieving your identified goals.

Sometimes people are worried that they will be bossed about or told what to do. Rest assured this is not the case at all - instead your own solutions, options and actions will be drawn out of you using gentle and highly innovative questioning techniques that enable you to approach your topic from angles you have never tried before. Your coach is there to support you in a completely non-judgmental way, helping you get your thoughts straight to effectively answer your own questions.

In this way coaching teaches you techniques and tools for the future, so as you grow in confidence you can continue to work through future situations using the structure and approaches you have learned. Within your sessions you will always decide your own topics, goals, solutions and actions and will be 100% supported in finding out what you really want and what will actually work for you, rather than what someone else thinks you should do.

How do I get started?

Give Alison a call or drop her an email to discuss your needs and objectives with regards to coaching, and to find out whether it really is the right solution for you at this time.

Following this, if you would like to go ahead and book, you are free to decide on a course of coaching that would best suit you. Because coaching works best when there is time between sessions for changes to sink in and regular sessions to keep motivation high, Alison prefers clients to book a series of regular sessions for deeper personal development and there are several packages to choose from.

People who make the commitment to invest this amount of time into improving their lives are amazed at the truly lasting and ongoing positive effects coaching can have. An agreement is signed at the beginning of the course to confirm what each party is committing themselves to and a client profile form will be sent to you to fill out, both giving Alison important background about your situation and allowing you to begin focussing on how you would best like to use your sessions.

Where are the sessions held?

Many clients choose to work with Alison by telephone or Skype, and although some people believe face to face coaching is better for them, phone and Skype are just as effective and sometimes even more efficient as there are fewer distractions from the topic at hand. They also make it easier to fit coaching around your busy schedule as you don’t have to leave the house.

If you still prefer face to face visits it is possible to have sessions at Alison’s home in La Colle sur Loup, near St Paul de Vence (above Villeneuve Loubet).

If telephone coaching by landline in the UK or France Alison will call the client at the appointed time and in all other cases, the client will call Alison.

What hours are available for sessions?

As all coaching sessions are by appointment and everyone has their own schedule to contend with, Alison works around her existing clients to fit sessions in at times that suit you.

Due to demand, coaching packages are slightly more expensive on weekday evenings and are offered between the hours of 6pm-10pm (inclusive). There is more availability for the less expensive weekday working hours (9am-6pm inclusive). Weekends are not usually available, however if there is no alternative Alison can make the occasional exception to this rule.
